Papers of Anderson, Deerfield, Wisconsin, a corporal in Co. K, 3rd Regiment Wisconsin Volunteer Infantry in the Civil War. Included is microfilmed correspondence, 1861-1865, written from Maryland, Virginia, Tennessee, and the Carolinas, and a family history kept by Anderson's daughter, Mrs. H. Swenson. In paper form is a transcribed journal, 1865, and a translation and photocopy of an April 27, 1865, letter to his wife commenting on Lincoln's assassination.
